Larisa Gabu Kamga is a Cameroonian-born Norwegian entrepreneur, international pageantry director, event manager, fashion designer, author, interpreter, media personality and advocate for women and youth empowerment.

She is the Founder and CEO of Beautiful Inside Out World (BIOW), a Norwegian non-profit organization dedicated to building confidence, self-worth and inner beauty while promoting inclusion and creating opportunities through pageantry, fashion, education, humanitarian initiatives and international events. BIOW’s philosophy is simple but powerful: “Beauty Starts From Within.”

Larisa is also the Founder and Host of the Larisa Gabu Show, an international platform where she interviews inspiring personalities, entrepreneurs, artists, authors, leaders and changemakers from around the world.

International Awards & Recognition

Larisa is a three-time award winner at The Global Beauty Awards, one of the recognized international awards platforms within the pageantry industry.

In Toronto in 2024, Larisa was also recognized by NovaCosmo with awards for Best Coach, Best Marketing Advisor and Best Pageant Director.

She serves as Mrs World Norway National Director and has been involved with multiple pageantry organizations, supporting, mentoring and preparing women for national and international competitions.

Since 2026, Larisa has also been part of the staff of the African Achievement Awards, contributing her experience in international networking, marketing and event management.

Founder & Designer – Larisa Joy Beauty Collection

Larisa is the Founder and Fashion Designer of Larisa Joy Beauty Collection, her own fashion and beauty brand created to celebrate elegance, confidence, femininity and individuality.

Through her collection, she combines her passion for fashion with her mission of empowering women to feel beautiful and confident from the inside out.

Her fashion journey has taken her internationally, including Paris, where Larisa Joy Beauty Collection was showcased at the prestigious Ritz Paris during Paris Fashion Week in March 2026.

Her brand brings together fashion, beauty, confidence and empowerment, reflecting the same philosophy that inspires her work with BIOW.

Education & Professional Career

Larisa has a Bachelor’s degree in Kindergarten Teaching and has worked for more than 14 years as a French–Norwegian translator and interpreter.

She currently works as an event manager and has organized numerous events, fashion shows, conferences, pageants and cultural projects internationally, including events and activities in Norway, Paris, Romania and Toronto.

Her international projects have brought together fashion designers, models, beauty queens, entrepreneurs, artists and community leaders from different countries and cultures.

Author, Music & Media

Larisa is also an author. She released her first book, I Pray, in 2022, and the book has been available on Amazon.

Her creative journey also extends to music. Larisa has released more than 10 songs and previously held two concerts in Norway. Singing and dancing continue to be an important part of her creative identity.

In 2025, Larisa walked the Cannes red carpet, expanding her international presence across fashion, entertainment and media.

Her journey, projects and achievements have now been featured in more than 10 international magazines and media publications.

From Cameroon to Norway

Born in Cameroon and now a Norwegian citizen, Larisa moved to Norway nearly two decades ago and has built a life that brings together her African heritage and Norwegian experience with an increasingly international career.

Through her work, Larisa has developed a multicultural and international network and communicates across several languages.

Above all her professional titles and achievements, Larisa considers her most important role to be being a mother to her two boys. Motherhood is at the heart of her life and remains her number-one profession, greatest responsibility and source of inspiration.

Through Beautiful Inside Out World, the Larisa Gabu Show, Larisa Joy Beauty Collection, international pageantry, fashion, media and humanitarian projects, Larisa continues to use her platform to encourage people to believe in themselves, pursue their dreams and recognize the strength and beauty they carry within.
